Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery

Dr. Peter Lindquist specializes in cataract, cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery. He has experience in the treatment of corneal diseases and corneal surgery including refractive surgical procedures, LASIK and PRK.

Dr. Lindquist is Board eligible and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and Cornea Society. He was a volunteer physician at Tenwek Hospital in Bomet, Kenya and has worked as a Corneal Recovery Technician at Northwest Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation. Dr. Lindquist was awarded Best Poster designation at the American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting in 2013. In 2012, he received outstanding resident research presentation by the UAB Department of Ophthalmology Annual Research Symposium and in 2009 received the William Hamlin Wilder, MD Endowed Scholarship Fund at Rush Medical College.

Dr. Lindquist joined SouthEast Eye Specialists in September 2014.
